Happy Birthday Market Vintage

Market Vintage is now two years old!

Our month long sale was incredible; so many bargains flew out the door.  Jacket at 70%, skirts, pants, and blouses all 50% off. And as always…our superb vintage stock was on sale too. We only discount our Vintage clothing one day a year…our Birthday, so mark your calendar for next year!

Irene Walls did an outstanding window this month, the colours are fantastic and the outfits are so creative. So many locals and tourists alike stop and have a really good look, and every day we have two or three ladies popping their heads in to say how good it looks. Keep up the good work Irene!

How did Market Vintage come about?

The Utopia Trust Committee wanted to raise funds to start the Trust's 'online parenting programs', but they didn't want to go begging for funds. Then, one day while on the web, our Trustee saw an article about the very first opportunity shop in Australia. And here we are! Our Opportunity Shop is located at 383 Darling Street, Balmain NSW AUSTRALIA (61-2-9555-9435) and is filled with unique and unusual items that we hope you will love and cherish.

Even with so much going on, our volunteers never forget that the primary goal is to raise much needed funds to support the development of the Utopia Research Institute's Parenting Lab Programs.
